VERBIO Ethanol Schwedt, one of Germany’s first and largest bioethanol plants, has been producing bioethanol mainly from rye since august 2005. The mash which remains is mainly processed as a 35 percent pressed distilling waste and marketed as feed for cattle and pigs. It is a balanced animal feed which can be used “on top” without any great change to the ration.
